《聽啊!天使高聲唱》:直譯附註釋

衛斯理的歌詞,充滿著正統神學,《聖經》真理。唱的時候要留意!他絕對堅持聖子的神性,同時又堅信道成肉身是歷史事實,耶穌乃從童貞女所生。基督是永恆之主,天使都在永恆裡讚美他。但是他確實穿上了人性,在歷史中,在時間裡的某一個時刻。這時刻是上帝所決定的,《聖經》稱之為『末日』。(《希伯來書》1:1-3。)道成肉身的聖子,神人二性的耶穌,沒有放下神性,但放下了榮耀。他為罪人成就了公義,帶來重生。基督所成就的公義(加上光,生命,重生),不僅是個人的事,更是萬國要稱頌的。這就是天使所宣告的信息。這是我們要宣告的信息。一切榮耀都歸上帝。

第一節

註釋

這一節,天使被形容為報『凱旋』信息(triumph) 的『先鋒隊』 (herald angels)。『先鋒』,乃是走在君王前面作宣告的。這個『先鋒報信息』用詞的字根,就是《新約聖經》用來指『講道』的字。在地上,因為上帝來與罪人和好,因此地上有憐憫(恩典), 而因為有和好,所以有平安。是上帝與人,與罪人和好,不是倒過來:這是《聖經》所強調的重點。都是恩典/憐憫。而在地上(伯利恆)出生的,是基督,就是上帝所膏立的那位,就是彌賽亞。彌賽亞是希伯來文,翻譯成希臘文就是基督,受膏者。所以我們看見:地上的萬國,特別是得到上帝的和好的罪人,參與天使先鋒隊的讚美。

第二節

註釋

基督是那位在永恆裡永存的主:祂是上帝。在永恆裡,不斷接受天使的讚美(愛戴, adore)。

參考《希伯來書》1章,全章。而根據上帝永恆的計劃,在『末日』(《希伯來書》1:1-3,參考:《加拉太書》4:4,時候滿了的時候)祂就穿上人性,透過童貞女的懷孕而出生。不是放下神性,乃是穿上人性。 是『最後的日子』,是『末日』,因為,在歷史中,這是上帝成就救恩的最後一個階段。注意:道成肉身,穿上人性的的是『永恆的主』,是神自己,三位一體的第二位,聖子。道成肉身的是上帝(聖子)。祂的神性(神格)穿上了人性,神人二性的耶穌基督,在某一個程度上,隱藏了他的神性。但並不是完全隱藏。雖然很多人看不出他是誰(《以賽亞書》53:1-3;《以賽亞書》6:8-10,《馬太福音》13:10-17),但是,父神樂意把他顯示給很多蒙恩的罪人。這位耶穌是以馬內利,神與我們同在:他樂意與人,與罪人同住。(《馬太福音》1:23,要看上下文。)

第三節

註釋

這位穿上人性,道成肉身,神人二性的『以馬內利』是誰?是『天上所生的』。根據《聖經》,聖子是聖父在永恆裡所生的 (begotten),嚴格來說不是誕生(born)(『誕生』是詩人詩意);乃是『受生』(begotten)。聖父,聖子都是沒有開始的;都是永存的。聖父是『不受生的』,聖子是『受生的』。所以第二節所他是『永恆之主』。耶穌是公義的太陽,根據施洗約翰的父親,撒迦利亞所唱的詩歌:《路加福音》1:67-79。 基督帶來『義』:他滿足了上帝的義(聖潔)的要求,並為不義的人承擔了懲罰,死在十架上。這『義』好像太陽的陽光,照在充滿著罪的,黑暗的世界。因為基督成就了義,上帝並且把這義歸算給信徒(《創世記》15:6;《羅馬書》4:3),信徒就 白白領受了『稱義』(得救)的恩典。結果是,聖靈就賜給我們光,生命,醫治。 聖子道成肉身時,沒有放下他的神性,只是放下他的榮耀。參考:《腓立比書》2:6-11。他的誕生,是為了要活出完全無罪(聖潔,公義)的一生,死在十字架上。因此,為那些上帝要救贖的子民,帶來重生。參考:《約翰福音》3:3,5,8。
